Lineas 1 of 8 companies to receive the 2017 VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business
Lineas is proud to be one of the eight organisations that received the 2017 VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business. The charter is proof of our commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
The VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business is based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for 2030. It aims to help Flemish companies develop a framework and actions that contribute to the realisation of these objectives.
To be eligible for the VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business, organisations have to:
Lineas has focused its efforts on a number of initiatives with high impact such as the introduction and development of an eco driving practice, a CO2 emissions reduction strategy, a mobility policy, the security management system integration and the continued development of our professionals’ e-learning potential.

Every year we take 55,000 trucks off the road onto the cleaner rail transport mode, which has the lowest CO2 emissions, air pollution, health impact, human casualties and, of course, no traffic congestion. We are convinced Lineas can make a highly positive contribution to the achievement of the sustainable development goals by 2030.”
