First Mile

If your company does not have its own rail connection, we can collect all types of cargo from your site at a time that suites you and take responsibility for loading it safely onto our freight wagons. Making sure your cargo is loaded safely and efficiently onto well-maintained wagons helps to optimize our service. Our highly-trained team are there to help you.

Railport and terminals

Railports allow you to transfer your goods to-and-from maritime ports by train. We are able to transport all types of freight to-and-from ports to rail terminals in the heart of Europe. We operate several direct express routes to economic hubs like Koln, Vienna, Milan, Madrid and Malmö.

We also provide fast transport from rail terminal to rail terminal. Connecting most of the terminals across Europe with our fast connections, including our own rail terminal in Belgium, we can transport your goods to anywhere across Europe.

Wagon and Loc renting

Whatever cargo you need to move, over whatever distance; we can provide well-maintained wagons and locomotives from our fleet that are tailored to your requirements. We currently hold more than 7,000 wagons, including 8 different types, and mixture of 250 diesel and electric locomotives. Our fleet is modern, certified, rigorously maintained and adaptable to your needs.

Long Haul

Our Green Xpress Network provides daily, fast and reliable connections between European economic hubs at unrivalled quality. We make direct daily round trips to destinations across the continent, providing you with shorter lead times, regular arrival times, and faster connections. The reliability statistics for the Green Xpress Network are 95%, and we can also reduce the carbon emissions of your transport logistics by between 83% and 87.5%.

Operating mainly from our hub in Antwerp, we deliver all types of cargo to-and-from the heart of Europe. Locally, we serve all stations in Belgium and are the preferred last mile delivery partner of the Belgian ports including Zeebrugge, Ghent. We also provide and daily connections to most quays of the port of Antwerp.

We can take away the hassle of safely and efficiently collecting and unloading your cargo at its destination railport or terminal before delivering it directly to your site or quay.

Different types of transport

Block train

If you need to transport high volumes of commodities, our block trains provide a fast, reliable and cost effective solution. We operate approximately 850 point-to-point block trains each week, with loading capacities of up to 2,600 tonnes net, and a maximum length of 750 metres.

Single wagon load

We can deliver single wagon loads when and where you need them.

We know that some business supply chains rely on irregular deliveries of smaller volumes of cargo. The breadth of our Green Xpress Network throughout Europe means that we can deliver single wagon loads when and where you need them. This sustainable service is designed to offer total flexibility, from online configuration to end-point delivery.

Intermodal units of all kinds

Our container transport

We also have intermodal wagons in our fleet, adapted to be able to directly carry shipping containers, swap bodies and road trailers from one port or terminal to another. These can then be quickly and efficiently transferred to the next mode of transport, helping to optimize door-to-door delivery times. Pallets

The smallest volume of freight we can transport for you is a single pallet.

All you need to do to organise transport of less than a full wagon load is organize drop-off and collection from a rail-connected warehouse with our distribution partners. Loads will be transported overnight on our Xpress trains.

Exceptional transport

On average, we support 12 highly-customized, end-to-end exceptional transport services for clients each week.

If you need to transport out of gauge freight like, for example, military machinery and toxic materials, and new or damaged rail locomotives, we can help. We offer an end-to-end service that is focussed on safety and efficiency. Often, we will transport your cargo overnight, and have a team dedicated to end-to-end monitoring and follow-up of your cargo.
